Other than the fact that they contain a high-resolution image Gen2+ SD tube, PVS-7 Gen2+ SD Night Vision Goggles contain the same features that you’ll find in the Gen3 version. The same intuitive user controls, the same fully automated image tube protection and the same high-performance glass optics package, all at a lower price.
Featuring the same ergonomically designed headmount, our PVS-7 Gen2+ SD goggles are similarly equipped with custom brow pads, an integrated infrared illuminator, covert on-screen IR and low battery indicators, ocular demist shields, sacrificial lens and a lengthy accessories list.
Sporting a image resolution of 47-50 lp/mm and a 250-yard maximum range users tell us that for their unique night vision applications the money saved by choosing Gen2+ or a moreexpensive Gen3 version was better applied to accessory lenses and attachments.
